Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst / QA Tester

Hands on Quality Assurance analyst / tester, with IT background to work with DEV, BA and QA teams in order to create test requirements, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, verification sql queries for iMatch application and in house added applications.

Requires the candidate to possess very good communication skills for dealing with business analysts and users during UAT. Additionally, candidate should be able to work effectively within a global team split across several different locations and time zones.

Primary Responsibilities:

Test Planning, Test Execution and Test Reporting

* Using different tools and techniques designs test cases that trace back to business and system requirements.

* Maintains traceability matrix between requirements and test cases.

* Prepares and maintains test data based on test data requirements

* Documents detailed test cases and captures test results with proof of execution in HP QC

* Executes validations using queries and stored procedures

* May develop testing tools in accordance with project needs

* Writes test cases to ensure code performs to specification.

* Provides input for Test Plan and Test Strategy

Planning,

* Provides estimates on activities/tasks required to perform test design, test execution, improving accuracy over time.

* Contributes to high level planning of test project phases.

Relationships & Communication

* Candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to communicate with people from a non-technical background.

* Prepares and delivers presentations to technology partners.
