Quality Assurance Analyst Job

SOFTWARE QA ANALYST is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Create test cases
- Automation/System integration testing
- SQL Database Knowledge

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Under the direction of the Quality Assurance lead, the Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) will be responsible for writing test cases for the backlog items assigned as well as testing the actual functionality during the sprint to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Good communication and writing skills
- Ability to write test cases
- Four (4) or more years of QA analysis experience a must
- Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS) or other defect tracking system a MUST
- Smoke testing, Regression Testing, Agile/scrum meetings, interface with developers and BA

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Automation skills a plus
- SQL knowledge a plus
- Scrum/agile methodology a plus
