Quality Assurance

Day-to-day assignments shall come from the GAVERS Project Manager with overall supervision coming from the Director, Project Management Office. This position may also receive special instructions and assignments from the Chief Information Officer.

The Georgia Vital Events Records System (GAVERS) Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for managing Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) for the project.

THIS POSITION WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OTHER KEY PROJECT PROCESSES, TO INCLUDE:

- Change control
- Data management
- Operational readiness
- Risk and issue management

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to develop written presentations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience facilitating meetings and leading teams
- Minimum of 10 years project management experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of State Government experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
- Knowledge and experience of System Development Life Cycle processes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- PROJECT MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION (PMP) HIGHLY DESIRED
