QUALITY ANALYST for a CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, Missouri

POSSESSION OF OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Direct experience with large Government Agency Geospatial
- Experience with Cartographic data/products.
- Prior experience in the Quality Assurance discipline
- Expert level Mapping and Geospatial projects.
- Vector geospatial data in a quality
- COTS geospatial software tools
- NGA Vector Feature Data production/integration
- TLM and MDG production.
- ESRI ArcGIS, ArcSDE, FME, MapMerger

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will conduct data and product inspections utilizing various COTS geospatial software to ensure defined acceptable levels of quality.
- Identify program improvement opportunities and recommend process and procedure adjustments to realize operational efficiencies, performance enhancements, and quality gains.
- Interface with technical representatives and subcontractor personnel to review imagery and mapping data, resolve technical issues, and track and report on quality metrics.
- Identifies and reports on recurring problems and discrepancies for disposition and corrective actions as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE.

- BS/BA degree in cartography, geography, earth science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related technical discipline, or a minimum of three (3) years of direct NGA geospatial data/product experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with NGA Vector Feature Data production/integration or hard -copy TLM and MDG production.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with various COTS geospatial software applications (ESRI ArcGIS, ArcSDE, FME, MapMerger).
- Written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
- Understanding of Windows environment including standard Microsoft Office tools is required.
- Previous experience with Scripting languages and productivity tools such as Python, ModelBuilder and SQL is desired.
