Qualified Social Worker - Referral & Assessment

Pay rate is 29.50p/h Ltd

We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to work within a CIN & LAC Service based in Croydon.
The core of this role is to directly deliver - or contribute to the delivery of - positive safety and well-being outcomes for children in need and their families, including those in need of protection and those looked after. For looked after children, a key outcome will be the achievement of permanence.
Candidates must have knowledge of national policy and developments regarding children's social care, and policy areas that impact on children's social care, knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, standards and procedures and must be able to engage and develop effective professional relationships with children and families.

Requirements:
*You must be a qualified social worker with at least 3 years post qualified experience
*You must be HCPC registered
*You must have experience within a children's social care Local Authority team
*You must have excellent Referral & assessment, CIN & LAC skills and experience
*You must be child protection trained
*You must also have excellent communication skills
*You must be willing to undergo or have undergone an enhanced DBS check
*You must be a car driver with own transport
