Qualified Social Worker - Older People

Our client has a job vacancy for a Qualified Social Worker to work within an Older People (OP) Team based in Biggleswade. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is up to £28 per hour (limited company worker).

Requirements:
Have you got a social work degree or equivalent?
Are you HCPC registered?
Do you have 2 years experience within Older People Services in the UK?
Do you have extensive experience of utilising the care management process to address the needs of service users and carers?
Do you have detailed knowledge and experience of utilising safeguarding adult procedures which includes investigations, strategy meetings and liaison with police and partner agencies?

If you fit these requirements then you could be the ideal candidate.

Duties:
- You will be carrying out needs led assessments.
- You will be conducting continuing health care assessments.
- You will be dealing with direct payments.
- You will be carrying own caseload.
- You will be working within a multidisciplinary team.
- You will be arranging and reviewing care packages.
