Qualified Social Worker - Children with Disabilities

Our client has a job vacancy for a Qualified Social Worker to work within a Children with Disabilities Team based in Waltham Forest. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £28 per hour (limited company worker).

Requirements
Have you got a social work degree or equivalent?
Are you HCPC registered?
Do you have 2 years experience within the UK?
Are you a car driver?

If you have suit these requirements then you could be the ideal candidate.

Duties:
- You will be undertaking Initial and Core Assessments under Section 17 of the Children's Act of 1989.
- You will be completing Core Assessments and Child Protection (CP) Enquiries under Section 47 of the Children's Act of 1989.
- You will be carrying out Parenting, Risk and Educational Needs Assessments.
- You will be chairing core group meetings.
- You will be arranging short breaks.
- You will be managing packages of care.
