Qualified Social Worker - Children and Families

Our client has a job vacancy for a Qualified Social Worker to work within a Children and Families Team based in South Gloucestershire. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £27-29 per hour (limited company worker).

Requirements:
Have you got a social work degree or equivalent?
Are you HCPC registered?
Do you have at least 2 years recent post qualifying UK experience?
Do you have previous experience working within a similar role?

If you have suit these requirements then you could be the ideal candidate.

Duties:
- You will be completing Section 7 and 37 reports requested by family courts.
- You will be providing Section 17 support to families and children in need (CIN).
- You will be carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children.
- You will be working closely with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young people's needs.
- You will be producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports.
