Qualified Social Worker - Children and Families

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work within a local authority Children And Families Team based with Essex County Council. .

A Children And Families Social Worker is required for frontline generic social work team, dealing with Looked After Children, Child in Need and court work. Essex offers the opportunity to work in a culture that celebrates staff safety, support and development alongside a commitment towards excellent practice in protecting and supporting the vulnerable children that we work with.

This is an exciting opportunity and the role will include:
*Children in Need cases
*Court work
*Initial Assessments
*Core Assessments
*Section 47's
*Handling a manageable caseload

This great opportunity has a long term contract with the strong possibility of an even longer extension. There is also an excellent rate of pay and flexible working hours.

For this position you must have:
*a degree or masters in Social Work (or any other recognised equivalent qualification)
*HCPC registration

It is desirable that you have post-qualifying experience of Child Protection and previous experience within Children Social Work Team we want to speak to you.
