Qualified Social Worker Child Protection Team

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work within a local authority Child Protection Team based with one of the top Councils in the UK.

An experienced child protection social worker is required for frontline generic social work team, dealing with Child Protection, Looked After Children, Child in Need and court work. Southend-on-Sea offers the opportunity to work in a culture that celebrates staff safety, support and development alongside a commitment towards excellent practice in protecting and supporting the vulnerable children that we work with.

This is an exciting opportunity and the role will include:
*Child Protection meetings
*Children in Need cases
*Court work
*Initial Assessments
*Core Assessments
*Section 47's
*Handling a manageable caseload

This great opportunity has a long term contract with the strong possibility of an even longer extension. There is also an excellent rate of pay and flexible working hours.

For this position you must have:
*a degree or masters in Social Work (or any other recognised equivalent qualification)
*HCPC registration

It is desirable that you have post-qualifying experience of Child Protection and previous experience within Children Social Work Team we want to speak to you.
