Qualified Internal Auditor

We have an opportunity for a Qualified internal auditor to operate within a Governance organisation. During this 6 month contract you will work with the Internal Audit team performing services to the organisation. This is a contract position, with an initial expected duration of 6 months.

In order to be successful in this role, you will possess experience of having worked in Government or public sector organisations, with practical knowledge in relation to internal audit revenues and benefits.

You will ideally have the IIA qualification but an ACA may be an option.

Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

Interacting with all members of staff.
Testing and evaluating the controls and systems put in place by the organisation.
Providing independent assurance and advice in regards to improving the section's effectiveness and efficiencies.
Assist with analysis and strategic functions in line with department reviews.
Strong communication skills will be essential in the successful completion in regards to the aforementioned duties, in conjunction with a natural ability to listen and absorb information in order to fulfil the demands which are associated with this position.
