INTERNAL MODEL ACTUARY - MIDLANDS - FINANCIAL SERVICES - £700-£900 PER DAY

My client, a financial services company in the Midlands, urgently requires an experienced qualified Actuary to join their team.

The purpose of the Actuary will be to support the Head of Internal Model in the oversight of the calculation of insurance liabilities and capital requirements and to support the Head of Internal Model develop the Internal Model/ICA + methodology and assumptions to ensure the function delivers its strategic objectives.

Key experience required:

- A qualified actuary with a number of years post-qualification experience in the industry and a strong technical ability
- An in depth understanding of all the dimensions of a with profits life company, the drivers of value and operating constraints
- Up to date knowledge of industry/regulatory developments in respect of Solvency II, financial management and individual capital assessments in particular
- Proven knowledge of solvency 2 and financial reporting
- Strong influencing skills, professional impact and credibility
