Qualified Accountant

QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT - CONTRACT - ST PAULS BASED

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is currently seeking to recruit a Qualified Accountant to join their Treasury - Middle Office function to be based in their offices in St Pauls.

Key skills for a Qualified Accountant:

* Strong P&L experience, ability to display food judgement and involvement in a change environment.
* Ideally experience within a Middle Office environment or equivalent.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to network with key stakeholders.
* Understanding of a Treasury business.

Responsibilities of a Qualified Accountant:

* Reporting of the daily P&L for all EMEA Treasury relationships and asset classes across the entities supported by the Group.
* Understand Treasury business funding relationships, to input into continual effort to enhance the control environment and to be involved in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
* Manage inter-company and intra company relationships.
* Complete and assist in analysis of the business and downstream reporting of any significant new business transactions projects or enhancements that are implemented.
* Participate in enhancing infrastructure and efficiency exercises around daily and monthly P&L processes.
