ROLE: QTP PROGRAMMER

LOCATION: COLUMBIA, SC

DURATION: 12+MONTHS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Creating scripts in QTP.
- Developing Quick Test Pro (QTP) scripts to test web application as well as web services that use XML and SOAP.
- Plans to load data for performance and stress testing.
- Assist in post-implementation support and system enhancements.

CANDIDATE TECHNICAL BACKGROUND:

- Real programmers with experience in Visual Basic and QTP Scripting.
- Experience developing HP QTP scripts to test web applications.
- Experience with XML & SOAP.
- Experience with performance & stress testing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Automation Test Development Methodology.
- HP LoadRunner

WHAT SYSTEMS WILL THE POSITION INTERACT WITH/BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- All web applications and services.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Devise feasible, logical procedures to resolve business problems through the use of computer resources.
- Develop and execute load and stress test plans and manual and automated testing scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications.
- During the testing process coordinate with the development teams and test designer to create scripts to test web based applications and monitor the system for exceptions.
- Also, test web application as well as web services that use XML and SOAP.
- Assist in post-implementation support and system enhancements.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor Degree OR 4 years combined education & work experience OR extra 4 years work experience ( = Min 8 years related work experience) Required
- HP Quick Test Pro (QTP) development experience Required 5 years
- Excellent communication skills Required 5 years
- Automation Test Development Methodology Highly Desired 5 years
- HP LoadRunner Highly Desired 3 years
- Experience with XML Highly Desired 3 years
- Experience with SOA or SOAP UI Highly Desired 2 years
- VB Scripting experience Required 3 years
