QSW x 6 - Fostering & Adoption

We are recruiting for 6 x QSW's with experience in Fostering & Adoption for Buckinghamshire County Council. You will be able to work from home but may be required to attend the office in Aylesbury on occasions.

You will need to assist with a backlog in assessments and once cleared you will be working on a fostering project.

You should have a minimum of 3 years experience as a social worker and ideally 2 within a local authority setting. You will have experience of completing Form E's for prospective adopters and Form F's for prospective foster carers.

You may be required to attend fostering and adoption panels and present assessments to the panel. Ideally, you will have wider knowledge, experience and understanding of looked after children, the adoption process/system/changes and the needs of adoptive children.

To be successful in this role you will require excellent assessment and communication skills and effective report writing skills.

You must have a Social work qualification, be HCPC registered and have access to your own vehicle.

The pay rate is highly competitive at £30-35/hr depending on experience.
