QSW| Duty Team | Swindon

I am currently recruiting for a QSW to join a Duty Team based in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Duties will include:
- Carrying out child protection investigations in line with section 47 and is responsible for holding the initial Strategy Discussion with the Police
- A small caseload of complex cases, approximately between 8-10 children
- Quality assuring and authorisation of referral and Single Work Assessments
- Attendance at Legal Planning Meetings
- Attending Initial Child Protection Conferences with Social Workers
- Chairing CIN Meetings

This locum post is due to run for approximately 4-6 months, and will pay in the region of £28-£32 per hour (limited company rate).

In order for you to be considered, you must:

- be a fully Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW etc)
- have a MINIMUM of 4 years experience working for a local authority Children's Services department
- have a CRB/DBS dated no older than August 2013
- be able to interview for this post within the next 7 days
- be able (if successful) to start in this post within the next 2 weeks
