Qualified Social Worker (CP) - South West England - Covering a small area

£26 - £28 per hour, start ASAP

My client is searching for an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join their Child Protection team in South West England. The team will cover the Weymouth South and Portland area only. This means that they will deal with a small caseload (20-25 cases), which will allow you to focus on each case giving you job satisfaction because you can provide a better service.

In this position, you will be part of a stable team that offers a great level of support and supervision. Hence, you will receive help with the difficult cases, allowing you to work in a more relaxed environment and enjoy your time within the team.

The position will involve dealing with Child Protection cases, undertaking children in need assessments and Section 47 Investigations. The right candidate should have a minimum of two years experience in Child Protection. Also, experience in initial and core assessments, Section 47 Investigations, and court work is very important. You must be registered with HCPC and have a full UK driving license.

This is a short term role, ending in March, with the possibility to be extended. The pay rate ranges between £26 to £28 per hour, depending on experience.
