Devon County Council is looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to join one of its Assessment Teams in either Barnstaple, Tiverton, Ottery St. Mary or Newton Abbott. The role will involve receiving referrals from the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub and completing initial/core assessments after visiting parents and children and making recommendations for the way forward. The authority is looking to take people on with a view to promoting people internally, so this is an excellent opportunity for career progression, in a beautiful part of the UK.

You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience in Children and Families Services. Experience of initial and core assessments is extremely important. You must also be HCPC registered and have a full UK driving licence.
