QS - Rail

An exciting opportunity to work within multi discipline consultancies who are currently working with a large UK Rail contractor. With projects based around the South they are involved in a number rail infrastructure. This would be a great opportunity to gain experience on high profile projects.

The role:
- Oversee specific contracts in the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor as directed by the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Assist the commercial team in producing monthly reconciliations of contract performance on contract by contract basis.
- Record sub contract variations in order to raise compensation events with the client.
- Daily review and monitoring of all actual costs against forecasts and budgets.

Experience:

- Minimum 3 years' experience as an assistant quantity surveyor
- Network Rail or London Underground background

Advantageous:

- Degree Qualified
- Member RICS
