QRM Analyst - SAS/SQL - Swindon

QRM ANALYST

We have an opportunity for a QRM ANALYST with experience of ORM, SQL and SAS. This is a 9 month initial contract, working for a leading Financial Services organisation, based in Swindon.

THE JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a hands on technical role and will rely heavily on use of QRM, SAS & SQL. You will be a team player with a positive can-do attitude and a flexible approach. To be successful you will need to demonstrate that you have a mix of strong business, project and technical skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- A proven track record in risk management, preferably with extensive experience in Retail Secured product area.
- Knowledge and use of databases and analysis tools, particularly SAS & SQL is essential
- Knowledge and use of QRM is essential.
- Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills including ability to work closely with others Senior Managers in Credit Risk and other stakeholder management.
- A strong quantitative degree ideally from a Financial, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related subject.
- A self-motivated starter with good organisational and communication skills who is adept at working on both their own initiative and as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
- A proven track record of applying project, business and technical skills to real commercial business problems that have delivered tangible and quantifiable business benefits.
- A logical approach with attention to detail and a planned delivery focus that meets cost, quality and time critical objectives.
- Demonstration of strong communication skills combined with a friendly, professional approach, and an ability to interact and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- An aptitude in capturing, analysing, documenting and validating business and technical requirements across a varied range of developments.
