QRADAR SECURITY ANALYSTneeded for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, Missouri.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Integration
- Device Setup and Configuration
- Health Check and Upgrades
- Hardware Acquisition and Implementation
- Log Source Acquisition and/or New Device Implementation
- Configure Devices to Send Logs to QRadar System

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Correlations and Reporting

- Configure Vendor content to produce and present a client specific monthly security report and build a repeatable process for client staff.
- Adjust imported filters and trends to collect relevant data.
- Modify imported reports to match client log sources and needs.
- Analyze reports for effectiveness and modify as necessary to make actionable.
- Schedule reports.

Knowledge Transfer

- Ensure that Client personnel have the necessary skills to support and maintain the security solution going forward.
- Conduct an informal knowledge transfer session with Client on utilizing the system to increase proficiency and ensure maximum results are achieved.

Documentation

- Environment Overview - A listing of the key security measures in place, an overview of the systems that make up the solution, and a depiction of the network environment post deployment.
- Solution Details - An explanation of how the systems are connected, how they communicate and any dependencies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

- Determining the optimal configuration of QRadar system and devices sending logs.
- Determining approach and scope of the device configuration.
- Determining log retention periods and storage requirements.
- Determining regulatory and operations and using QRadar to support audit.
- Determining appropriate alerting requirements.
- Determining needed reporting requirements.
- Determining appropriate user roles.
- Determining process for backing up the configuration data.
- Determining process for backing up the systems utilizing standard procedures.
- Final review of design details, including assignment of IP addresses, routing impacts, policy changes, etc.
