QHSE Advisor

Progressive Global Energy are working in partnership with a privately owned international drilling, well services and engineering company. The company have conducted drilling operations across all major Oil and gas hubs globally for over 50 years.

The company are going through a sustained period of expansion and are now seeking a QHSE Advisor onshore with occasional offshore travel.

The key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the responsibilities detailed below:

* Drive safety improvements within the offshore operation
* Develop management reports & submit internally & to client on regular basis
* Identify & implement continuous improvements in risk management
* Support onshore & offshore operations throughout drilling campaigns
* Undertake incident investigations
* Support offshore Safety Training Co-ordinators
* Conduct onshore & offshore QHSE audits & inspections
* Active involvement with client & industry safety groups
* Emergency response team member
* Conduct training & promote internal HSE campaigns

Qualifications & Experience:

* Maritime/technical education or equivalent with practical and/or theoretical knowledge in the discipline.
* NEBOSH certificate/diploma in a related discipline.
* 3 years offshore experience within a drilling related discipline.
* 3 years experience in a QHSE onshore role. (preferred)
* Have knowledge and experience with relevant UKCS and flag state legislation.
* Have experience in management systems (eg ISO 9001, 14001 18001 &/or FPAL). (preferred)
* Internal / lead auditor trained & experienced.
