QC Scientist - Leiden - 9+ Months

Amoria Bond is urgently looking for a QC scientist for a project of at least 9 months at an international biochemical company specializing in protein therapeutics.

You will be working closely with senior staff/experts within the organization to complete project activities, and participate in technical meetings as required.

About the job

You will be working in the R&D department as part of the QC team. Responsibilities include amongst others troubleshooting and improvement of current assays (HPLC, Elisa's, blotting) for QC release testing, submission of samples to external testing facilities, and revising and updating SOPs.

Requirements

*Extensive experience in the (bio) pharmaceutical industry
*Experience or affinity with QC testing, writing study protocols/SOPs, assay development and validation
*Experience with liquid chromatography (U)HPLC, FPLC), and/or biochemical and/or molecular biological assays
*Strong command of the English language
