QC Microbiologist

A pharmaceuticals company are recruiting for a contract Microbiologist within the Quality Control Department. This is an urgent role to start immediately; therefore ideal candidates will be immediately available.

To review and improve the Company's Environmental Monitoring (EM) system procedures, compliance and ways of working, to support the manufacture of biotechnology products; will include some 'hands on' microbiological testing in order to achieve project scope.

Experience:

Qualified Microbiologist experienced in working in GMP industry, ideally in the life sciences or pharmaceutical sectors.

Essential Requirements:
*GMP EM testing and system maintenance
*Trending of EM data (IT tools) and maintenance of electronic databases
*Track record of presenting EM data to senior management, including site QP
*Understanding and appreciation of Regulatory documentation
*Ability to work independently

Desirable Requirements:
*Development and validation of microbiological assays
