QC Lab Technician - QA - Process Control

QC TECHNICIAN - LEIDEN, NETHERLANDS - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT - UP TO 28 EUR (PER HOUR)

Department: Quality Control - In Process Control (QC-IPC) quality control is part of the One Lab Laboratories of Janssen Biologics and is responsible for the testing and release of raw materials for the production and testing of samples, operators and areas of the production process.

The QC-IPC department is responsible for carrying out various tests for all routine process samples that are taken at among others fermentation and the purification sections primary Recovery and Down Stream Processing, as well as the samples of Internal and external JBV (process) validations. All this in accordance with the guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). For the QC-IPC department We are looking for an experienced Technician.

ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You will be part of a diverse and enthusiastic team, where there is room for personal development in various fields.
- The core goal of the Department is to improve processes according to Lean tools, in which their own initiative are stimulated.
- You are responsible for the implementation of various laboratory tests in accordance with GMP/GLP. In the IPC section you will be dealing with a.o. the following tests: Endotoxin, OD280, HPLC, Phaset, DRID, ELISA, DNA hybridization, TOC, QPCR.
- Care of an accurate administration, so that data search in the context of quality assurance is easy.
- Perform an additional task or participate in a project alongside your regular tasks in consultation with your team leader.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS)

MLO or HLO-Diploma towards Biotechnilogy, biochemistry, clinical/analytical chemistry

High degree of accuracy, initiative and autonomy

Team player

GMP experience

Good Verbal and written expression proficiency in Dutch and English
