QC Inspector / Engineer

I currently have a requirement for a QC Inspector / Engineer for a major offshore Wind Farm being constructed Offshore of North Wales.

The requirement is for a site QC Inspector / Engineer to manage and carry out on-side snagging.

We need an experienced WTG Quality Engineer who can carry-out the following functions;

Devise and implement a system -"adapting existing check sheets"
Carry-out snagging inspections at goods inward and outward prior to shipment offshore, maintaining a spreadsheet of issues on the following components;
Nacelle
Hub
TU/PU
Blades
Also to monitor storage of above components and their consumables

To do this we need the inspector to have and electro/structural/ mechanical background and a knowledge of coatings. Hence ideally we need an experienced Wind Turbine Engineer from the UK to keep costs down. They will be supported by myself and the wider project engineering team.

Expected duration approximately 1 year

The client are looking to get someone on board to start on the 17th January.
