QC Inspector

Major Duties & Activities Required by the Position:

Perform detailed/complex First Article Inspection, Prototype Inspection, In-process Inspection, Semi-Final and Final Inspection according to print and specification
Perform detailed floor inspections of in-process parts
Training of Inspection personnel, and instructs the inspector in most efficiency use of equipment and provide proper direction
Inspect and evaluate parts returned from customers
Track inspection equipment recall list and ensure inspection equipment calibration schedule is maintained and accurately complete
Ensure all required documents and transactions (Specifications, drawings, Work Order Router, Daily Inspection, Global Shop Login, etc.)
Adhere to procedures
Generate SPC charts and track the use and effectiveness of SPC
Assist department manager in improving the productivity and efficiency of the department
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and equipment
Report any abnormalities
