QC Analyst I Job

QC ANALYST I needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Morrisville, NC.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- HPLC
- Analytical chemistry

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Analyst will be running HPLC samples and performing data analysis/review
- Perform chromatography and other analytical chemistry testing in support of flu vaccine process and product development
- Contribute to the development and transfer of analytical release and characterization assays in support of flu upstream and downstream process development, as well as subsequent transfer and implementation of tests

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, pharmaceutical chemistry, with 0 - 3 years in analytical testing of vaccine and/or biotechnology product
- Hands-on experience and understanding of Liquid Chromatography separation techniques (Reversed Phase, Size Exclusion, Ion Exchange) and associated instruments
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work in a fast paced testing Matrix environment and effectively manage multiple projects

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Preferably some experience in influenza vaccines
- EMPOWER (software program) experience preferred
