QA Tester (Contract)

QA Tester required for a short term contract with possibility to extend with a leading institution based in Dublin city centre.

The initial contract will be for three months with the option to extend the term if required. QUALIFICATIONS

The candidates must have the following skills and experience:

- A minimum of five years experience in IT with at least 2 years as a QA test analyst in a large environment with multiple business applications
- User test planning and specification of user test case,
- Outstanding written and communication skills,
- Creation and maintenance of test and environment data,
- Set-up of automated test tools
- Logging, monitoring and retesting of all bugs found
- Experience in online services testing.

Specific skills:

-Testing methodology and tools.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Release management.
- Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA would be an advantage
- Online services, user interface and accessibility testing.
- Cross browser testing and automation tools such as Selenium.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Manage user test planning and specification of user test cases,
- Manage and execute system testing,
- Work closely with developers as part of a development team
