QA Tester

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a QA Tester for a 6 month contract to assist with testing a financial and reporting system. Top candidates will have experience testing Accounting and Financial systems. They will be familiar with general accounting principles. Top candidates will also have experience testing web, E-commerce, Financials Reporting, and ERP Systems. We are seeking someone who has experience testing in both .NET and Java code.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Executing functional, regression, and various other types of testing
- Creating and executing test plans and test cases
- Data validation
- Writing test scripts/unit tests
- Writing automated tests using QTP and Selenium (Automation Test Script Development)
- Testing web-services
- Creating and executing SQL Scripts
- Defect Tracking

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 3+ years of QA Testing Experience
- Previous experience testing Financial and/or ERP Systems (ie: Clarity, Peoplesoft Financials hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, Microsoft .NET a huge plus
