QA TESTER

Looking for manual software Testers for either a perm or contract role.

My client is a unique financial software house looking for contract/perm Manual testers to start ASAP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Creation of test scripts and scenarios
- Testing of software components in line with test plans and specifications
- Ensuring correct operation of software
- Regression testing
- Recording of test results
- Recording the details of faults detected during test cycles
- Review of product documentation for input into future test plans and specifications
- Input into test plans and specifications
- Status/progress reporting against agreed plans and schedules

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

SKILLS

- 4- 6 years experience of working in a structured software testing environment
- Testing of Banking and Finance applications is a desirable
- ISEB qualified Testers preferred
- Understanding and experience of the MS Windows, Unix and Linux environment is an advantage
- Experience of a relational database (Oracle) or SQL.
