QA Technician Job

QA TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Ephrata, PA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Provides on-line Quality support to the Biscuit and Bakery operations through verification tasks
- Interacts with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to investigate and resolve production issues.
- Assesses product quality through observation inspection tasks (ie taste, visual inspection, analytical measurements, etc.)
- Provides data analysis, product summaries, and inspection results to management for appropriate product review and disposition.
- Monitor critical processing information and tie to quality inspections
- Ensure conformance to Manufacturing Control Plans
- Real Time product evaluations at key points in the process

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or related field
- Strong technical acumen - ability to troubleshoot a problem, involve other stakeholders as necessary, and brainstorm potential root causes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Statistical background a plus.
- Ability to work all three shifts
