QA Specialist

Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans, including component, assembly, product, performance, and user acceptance tests
Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures
Execute test scripts
Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans
Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
Validate product fixes
Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process

SKILLS:

May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
