QA/QC Specialist

QA/QC Specialist wanted for our Aarau based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Bachelor Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology or equivalent field, master degree is advantageous
- Knowledge of microbiological concepts and strategies to guarantee quality, sterility assurance and compliance for pharmaceutical drug products
- Subject Matter Expertise for low endotoxin recovery analytical studies including deep understanding of the biochemical properties of the endotoxin molecule
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Responsible for analytical, strategical and conceptual microbial projects including the execution and validation of low endotoxin recovery studies on manufactured drug products
- Increasing the microbial quality and sterility assurance by evaluating demasking methods and implementing them into routine endotoxin testing
- Introducing new microbiological test procedures including alternative methods
- Optimize and validate analytical methods and equipment as well as cooperate on pharmacopoeia issues
- Supporting method transfers from and to the laboratory
- Providing and assuring the fundamental knowledge in the specific area of expertise through regular education programs and training for members of QA, QC, MS&T and PUs
