Assure quality for targeted key projects (= audit role)
You are able to on-board to new projects effectively, by interpreting and analysing project data in a correct and efficient way.
Thanks to your deep project management skills and competencies, you are able to effectively challenge project stakeholders on how they fulfil their role in the project.
You keep a critical eye on the project stakeholders' points of view. You ensure that they dear to challenge their assumptions and points of view.
You are able to create clear and understandable reports about the actual project status, with specific recommendations for improvement.
You are able to accompany project teams and respond to their questions related to QA matters.
Coach project managers during implementation of quality improvement actions (= coaching role)
You take on the appropriate role to improve the quality on the project, depending on your recommendations. This could be: partially executing project management activities, coaching project owners, supporting and coaching the project team in taking the appropriate decisions on the various levels and committees in the organisation,...
You take a constructive attitude towards project managers to engage a dialog about difficult topics.
You are able to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders about project management in order to start an open dialogue about improving the quality of our projects.
Define and manage quality expectations for EPM projects
Define project management expectations with respect to scope, time, budget, resource and risk management.
Identify and improve the processes in order to increase the quality of our project managers.
Improve the current (C-level) reporting and where appropriate, develop this reporting together with the project team members (project manager, project owner, project team).
You create a good relationship with project managers and owners in order to guarantee an open and honest communication culture between the portfolio office and the various projects.
Service description:
You are a qualified bachelor or master.
You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar position
You have proven experience with portfolio, project and quality management.
You have had various management roles in the past.
You have experience with projects that have both an IT and a non-IT scope.
You have a keen sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills.
You are a smooth, assertive communicator and a resourceful, customer-oriented team player.
You are able to convince stakeholders of your ideas, build bridges and build relationships on the long term.
You have strong analytical skills, are a fast learner with a positive attitude.
You are able to consolidate information and report at the appropriate level of detail (depending on the target audience).
You are able to take unpopular decisions when needed.
You are fluent in French, Dutch and English.
