QA Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager in a Global Development firm specialising in Software. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organisation. You will need to have at least and comprehensive knowledge and experience with Superannuation systems. In this role you will be designing and implementing QA strategies and delivery metrics to promote quality and process improvement. This role combines both strategic and operational responsibilities.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO POSSESS THE ABILITY TO:

- Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality and release readiness;
- Design and implement testing programs that address project and enterprise deliverables
- Manage the planning and execution of testing efforts to meet committed delivery dates
- Have excellent documentation skills
- Have strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing a test team
- Design, execute and maintain a Quality Assurance Management plan across all areas of the business;
- Develop and manage practices to raise quality such as:
- code coverage analysis
- code quality tools

SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Superannuation systems or Wealth Management systems.
- Strong commercial QA experience
- Minimum 3 years management experience
- Key skills in developing, documenting and implementing strategic QA plans across all areas of the SDLC
- Experience in process improvement
- Advanced knowledge of software quality assurance processes and methodologies
- Experience working right throughout the SDLC
- Strong and effective leadership skills
- Excellent team player and Team Leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Comprehensive Project Management skills including project planning, estimation and release management
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to understand and critique requirements
- Clear and effective communicator
