QA Lead

Mansion House Consulting is a highly successful and rapidly expanding Technology and Business Transformation Consultancy specialising in the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset/Fund Management and Wealth Management sectors. We currently have offices in London, New York, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore.

We urgently seek a QA Lead, who will take responsibility for the  general supervision and technical guidance of the QA Staff in the analysis, design, testing, and deployment of individual applications. The Quality Assurance Lead maintains responsibility for assuring that all products are tested and certified for production release, meet technical specifications, and are compliant with company standards. They will also be responsible for test setup and execution.

Responsibilities

- Provides necessary development and execution of the product quality assurance plan per work stream, addressing all phases of product development.
- Manages QA work stream and overall expectations pertaining to QA schedules and resources.
- Designs, validates, and executes test cases.
- Ensures delivery against QA department goals and objectives
- Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvements within overall project
- Manages the tracking and execution of work stream testing efforts.
- Works with Project Managers to validate project schedules and resource allocation models.
- Anticipates program release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments. 
- Also responsible for test case execution and defect resolution.

Required Skills:

Strong background in relational database testing

Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics and measurements against entry/exit criteria.

Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.

Strong understanding of multiple software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automation tools.

Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team members (onshore/offshore)

Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.

Experience within regulatory reporting sector preferred.

Experience with test Scripting and automation preferred.

Industry-recognized certification in the areas of Quality Assurance and testing (eg, CSTE, CS Quality Assurance, CQE) preferred
