QA Engineer/Manual Testing/$32-37 p/hr

MANUAL QA TESTER:

We are looking for a manual QA Tester to join our team for a 3-4 Month engagement. This position is available immediately.

DETAILS AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

- New platform is Hybris technology (E-commerce, customer support app, inventory app), most of our work is focused here
- Legacy platform is Java based (E-commerce, customer support app), we will be keeping Legacy alive
- We use Teamforge to write test cases and defects, our user stories are in here.
- We are pseudo Agile/mini waterfall in process
- Automation and load testing will be done by an outsourced vendor
- Most of the work is manual testing of user stories, then regression and end to end testing in August timeframe.
- We will provide a work laptop, employee gets their own cube next to QA team and next to existing QA contractor.
- This resource will work closely with the existing QA contractor and will be lead by the permanent resources and QA lead for work tasks.
- Not a lot of Back End testing needed, but there is some.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3+ years of quality assurance, full SDLC, in a web-based environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, smart, interacts at all levels effectively   
- Comfortable working in primarily manual testing environment.  

PREFERENCES:

- JEE environment, Selenium/automation script experience, Bugzilla
