QA ENGINEER - DUBLIN CITY - DAILY RATE - €350+ PER DAY
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Test Back End Java applications on RedHat Linux with tomcat connected to a MS SQL server database
- Test strategy definition, test case creation, test case execution and verification
- Define and execute complex integration test scenarios
- Create and maintain automated regression suites
- QA of customer functionality and provide QA signoff to production releases
- Creating test cases, results analysis, raising bug reports and regressing all resolved bugs
- Review requirement documentation
- Managing QA test environments, including DB test data and multiple versions of software releases
- Working in an Agile environment
REQUIRED
- Experience of automation test tools such as JMeter, IBM rational tester and Scripting languages
- Experience of API testing
- Experience Linux operating systems
- Experience of testing against MS SQL Server database and good SQL knowledge
- Experience of XML, JavaScript, AJAX, Tomcat, Java and Web Services
- BSc/MSc degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline
