QA Engineer - Daily Rate Contract

OA ENGINEER - CHERRYWOOD

This individual must have experience validating commercially available software products. A particular emphasis will be placed on a track record of shipping stable, scalable, serviceable solutions within a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. The candidate should have the communication and technical skills needed to interact effectively with members of the various technical teams across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participates in the functional testing efforts for the delivery of products within budget, schedule, and quality guidelines.
- Reviews requirements, specifications and designs to assure product quality and implements plans and tests for product quality.
- Design, configure, and execute complex test plans and test cases validating the required functional components of the product.
- Enforce the quality processes across the product team.
- Regularly capture and communicate test execution metrics in order to provide visibility into areas of improvement.
- Drive efficiencies of test execution through the use of automation.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Years Experience (Minimum 5)
- Strong knowledge of Java
- Solid automation experience (Selenium, QTP. etc.)
- Back and Front End experience (Linux, Windows, Web UI)
- Relevant Experience (Cloud if possible, Virtualisation a positive)
- Technical Strengths (Strong storage skills a real plus)
- QA Qualifications (ISEB or ISTQB would be good)
