QA Engineer

Progressive Global Energy are working in partnership with a major service company in Aberdeen in sourcing a talented and motivated QA Engineer.

The core duties of this function are to ensure that products and services within the Global Business Unit are fully supported from a Quality perspective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist the Global QA Manager in all areas of QA within the Completions Manufacturing Business Unit.
* Review Global QCPs and standardised procedures.
* Actively participate in client interaction opportunities.
* Plan and conduct facility Quality Audits and participate in assisting resultant improvement developments within the scope of the BU
* Ensure the tools and resources are available to maintain the currency and integrity of Quality Management Systems and OEP including keeping all working procedures current.
* Oversee the development of BU facilities QMS to assist in ISO/API certification and promote OEP involvement
* Support 'Employee Competence' initiatives.
* Assist in the preparation of the ISO9001-2008 or API Q1 surveillance audit requirement/program when and where required
* Give assistance where possible to other members of QA group globally

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

* Standard level of Education with good grades in English and Maths
* A Diploma/Degree within Quality Management
* Lead Auditor Certificate

Preferred

* Member of the Institute of Quality Assurance

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE

Essential

* Good understanding of the ISO9001-2008 Quality Management Standard
* Previous experience in a quality related role
* Computer literate
* Supervisory experience

Essential

* Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Must have demonstrated sound keyboard and/or computer skills
* Adept in use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel
* Must be able to demonstrate best practice first time every time.
* Able to assist personnel within QA/QC roles

This is a full time position based in Aberdeen

Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits
