QA Engineer

Progressive Global Energy are working in partnership with one of the most prestigious and forward thinking oil and gas service companies in Aberdeen.

Due to continued growth moving forward they are looking for a QA Engineer.

THE ROLE:

Challenging job situations within a small multi-disciplined group of personnel responsible for the world-wide supply of Intervention and Workover Control and Riser Systems

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Liaise with Tendering Group and review ITT quality requirements
* Liaise with local Project Teams and Project QA Groups
* Liaise with Third Party Inspectors; Customer and Certifying Authorities in relation to work scopes
* Liaise with Customer QA regarding project activities - Non-conformance management and Performance management aspects relating to QA/QC issues.
* Auditing - Internal and External (e.g. Critical suppliers)
* Review Supplier quality/inspection and test plans and manage and control activities
* Develop quality, inspection and test plans
* Witness/Inspect and Release Cameron productions on-site/location, at suppliers and sub-suppliers as required
* Review suppliers certification/documentation for approval
* Compile project manufacturing record books (MRBs), Shipping and Cert dossiers
* Interface management both internal and external

Support the Project Manager during execution phase, including assisting with and generating progress reports

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

* Awareness of functions, capabilities and applications of products
* Conversant with industry manufacturing and maintenance processes, procurement processes, and Engineering processes and documentation
* Knowledge of legislative requirements and standards including ISO 9000 and 14000 standards
* Internal/external quality auditing
* Project Management skills
* Lean/Six Sigma/Risk

Ability to coach, guide, support aspiring junior engineers.

DESIRABLE SILLS:

* Time Management skills
* Manufacture knowledge of main Intervention Workover Group Equipment, WOCS equipment, HPU, Reel, Coil
