QA Coordinator

Our client is a global leader in the resources industry with operations in over 25 countries. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced QA Coordinator to join their team on a Full time 12 month contract. The position will be located within their corporate offices in the Perth CBD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage a senior team of Project Managers, Business Analysts and Solutions Analysts to oversee/quality assure a large external service provider (ESP) who is tasked to deliver projects and interrelated programs
- Ensures the work for the QA team is well managed and meets the needs of the QA function without compromising ESP project progress
- Ensures ESP adherence to agreed Project Management deliverables and established quality assurance expectations
- Establishes and maintains appropriate metrics for measuring key ESP performance
- Ensures Senior Management is kept aware of the QA Team workload and the ESP performance
- Participates as a key member of the Leadership Team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- At least 10 years experience in a similar role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Strong facilitation and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational ability
- Oil and gas experience highly desirable
