QA Consultant - Banking - Birmingham.

My client, a global tier 1 investment bank based in Birmingham, urgently require an experienced QA Consultant to join their growing technology infrastructure team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Upwards of 5-7 years in Programme Delivery roles
Significant experience in Quality Assurance/Health Check roles and/or leading QA teams
Working knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) approach
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to work in a multi-cultural, global environment
Independent, self-starter and team player
Customer and service orientation to support interaction with team resources and clients
Performance and productivity oriented to drive quality Programme performance and delivery
Experience of defining and driving program structure, success factors and Quality Assurance standards
Experience of managing, reporting, planning and resourcing across multiple projects
Experience of implementing process improvement across the Software Development Lifecycle.
Experience of financial management and budgeting processes
Experience of vendor and contract management
Proven experience with Risk Management and Control policies and procedures
Previous experience working effectively in globally diverse teams and matrixed organizations
Proactively initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
Demonstrated ability to cooperate with a variety of people and achieve results
Has knowledge of infrastructure architecture landscape and dependencies
Completion of official SEI Certification (including Introduction to CMMI)
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or IT-related discipline
