QA Automation Engineer

WE HAVE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN WILMINGTON, DELAWARE FOR A TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER. THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT WITH A WELL ESTABLISHED TEAM. CLIENT WILL SKYPE TO HIRE FOR NON LOCAL CANDIDATES.

The candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing and implementing automation solutions, with the end goal of reducing effort and time on task or to increase testing coverage or mitigate risks.

- Candidate will need to be a hands-on developer of Test Automation Framework
- Candidate should help implement end-to-end automation, tools strategies and roadmaps for various QA applications.
- Work closely with manual testing team as well as app dev. teams to understand testing/automation requirements and facilitate automated test execution.
- Conduct technical scripts code review. Identify vulnerabilities in automated testing and find ways to optimize scripts to increase the speed of execution.

Required Skills:

- VB Scripting in Excel
- Able to apply VB Scripting skills in QTP
- Familiar with the concept of coding scalability
- Ability to conceptualize, design, and execute test automation
- Ability to optimize automation
- Experience with end-to-end testing
- Able to conceptualize and design the script/process to solve a business problem
