QA ANALYST DESKTOP MAC OS CONTRACT

DESCRIPTION:

My Client is currently hiring an experienced QA Analyst II (Desktop Client). This role involves working as part of an agile development team, testing new features and functionality. The role will be primarily focused on Manual testing the PC and MAC Desktop Clients.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute Manual Desktop Tests on Windows and MAC operating systems.
- Create and maintain Test Cases from Requirements documentation.
- Troubleshoot and verify software defects logged internally and externally and associated fixes
- Document Software Defects
- Coordinate and Communicate with developers on defect fixes and required modifications
- Problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work within a team and to make a valuable contribution.
- Work on continuous deploy/delivery framework with UI and Backend Developers.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:

- Minimum 2+ year's software test experience.
- Experience in Desktop Client (Windows and MAC) Manual Testing
- Experience with Desktop (Windows and MAC) debugging tools
- Ability to deliver quality Test specifications.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Experience in Defect logging
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology.

DESIRED SKILLS:

- Experience with Desktop Client debugging tools eg Fiddler, Wireshark, Charles
