Our Client, a Global Technology Company is currently seeking a Python programmer/researcher - Cloud.
Responsibilities include the participation in one or more of our projects, the design and implementation of software as well as the documentation of the results. Successful applicants will bring a strong background in Python programming, software testing and integrating existing technologies to future services. A plus is a knowledge of test driven development and experience with cloud (eg OpenStack, OpenNebula) and virtualization technologies (eg KVM, Xen). Furthermore person who bring knowledge about PaaS solutions are more than welcome.
Required skills:
* Operating systems knowledge (eg Linux, Unix)
* Networking and network protocols (eg TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SSH)
* Virtualization and containerization (eg KVM, VirtualBox)
* Systems and Scripting programming languages (eg C, Bash, Python)
* Software engineering skills (eg test driven development, Agile methodologies)
Plus:
* IaaS knowledge (eg OpenStack, OpenNebula)
* PaaS knowledge (eg Google App Engine, Herokue, OpenShift or Cloud Foundry)
