Python/Java Developer - Immediate Start - 8 Month Contract

A wonderful opportunity for a mid level developer in Python/Java.

SELECTION CRITERIA

- Experience in design, development, and unit testing of Python applications and JEE web applications using the Spring Framework;
- Well-developed experience with XML technologies (XML, XSD, XSLT);
- Experienced with Objected-Oriented analysis and design using UML;
- Experience in using database such as Oracle and MySQL;
- Orientation to team-work and problem solving
- Exposure to, or experience with, Java Web Services JAX-WS technologies, Tomcat, AJAX, JQUERY, JSON, Spring; and
- Agile methodology exposure.

Baseline level security clearance required, or ability to obtain one.

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

- Experience with Linux/Unix Operating System environment;
- Experienced with configuration, release, dependency management of source code using Subversion and Maven;
- When there is no Python experience, current C/C++ experience will be desired;
- Demonstrated experience in developing system and technical documentation; and
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to customer's working culture and environment.
