Python GUI Programmer

Proteus Europe is searching for a Python Programmer for a contract role based in Olen, Belgium.

Our Client:-
is a multinational materials technology company; originally consisting of four companies in the mining and smelting industries. They have since become more of a technology-focused business encompassing such areas as the refining and recycling of precious metals and the manufacture of specialised products from precious metals, cobalt, germanium, zinc, and other metals.

Your New role:-

- A FORTRAN script is already present for this project (+ the person who wrote this code as a guide)
- Draw shapes + broader than for which it was written for the time + develop multifunctional GUI.
- We also expect to receive the Python code, not just the software
- The developer will sign an NDA

This project will involve an interactive tool with GUI to support our clients' metallurgical processes

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
- Python
- GUI Development
- Debugging
- Informatica

Desirable Skills:-
- Dutch is an asset
