Python Engineer, Netherlands

A European market leader in the utilities industry is looking to hire a Full Stack Python Engineer for a 12 month contract. This is a greenfield project developing new tool that will be used internationally by the business. This small sub team will work independently using a LEAN approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Work closely with the business users to define the product feature
-Write clean maintainable production-level code
-Write unit tests for your own code and use test first approaches (TDD) to develop your code
- Share software engineering related knowledge and experience with the rest of the team
- Self-organize with other member
- Work in a highly-collaborative Agile environment
- Continuous Improvement activities
- Develop the Front End for the application

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years in Python developing enterprise scale software
- A strong grasp of industry best practices and tools such as: microservcies, containerisation, NoSQL databases, SOLID principles, TDD, BDD, CI/CD, Lean/Agile

WHAT'S ON OFFER?

- Some remote working is available with weekly meetings in Eindhoven, Amsterdam or Rotterdam office.
- 600-800 Euros negotiable
- Start date: 1-3 months
